Our mission, our goal, and our objectives
Our mission is the development of players in a safe, fun and organized venue while providing an atmosphere that cultivates a player’s love for the game.
Our main goal is to raise the level of every player by improving technical, tactical, mental and physical fundamentals needed for success. We promote ‘team’ training/playing in which the goal of the whole group becomes the focus of every player while never losing sight of each individual’s needs. The skills and attitudes developed will foster character, pride in achievement, healthy competitive spirit, and sportsmanship. It is our desire that these will carry over into the areas of physical and mental fitness, education, and citizenship.
Our Objectives:
To successfully have every player juggle 20 times without the ball
touching the ground.
For all players to be able to comfortably complete 8 dribbling moves
by the end of the season.
To successfully bend / strike a soccer ball with the inside and outside
of the foot.
To improve all players skills on their non-dominate foot.
To improve possession of the ball.
To take smarter shots on goal.
To compete and be successful playing against “a” level teams.
A hearty Cougar WELCOME (back) goes out to Sam Smith. Sam will be returning to the Cougars team this Fall. We are excited to have him back! Go Cougars!
